Obama asked to mull troops deployment in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON: A bipartisan group of lawmakers is asking President Barack Obama to reconsider the deployment of 17,000 additional troops to Afghanistan saying objectives of the U.S. military involvement remain unclear.
